Breeding conditions:
|
| Complexes of lakes and bogs are widespread in the region, likewise shallow spring valleys, sandy beaches and spits. Lemming and vole numbers were low, owls not recorded. Arctic Foxes bred. Summer numbers of waders were lower than usial.
